22nd ANNUAL DEAF HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC BOWL
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m
Building/Room: Building J, Theater (park in lot 5)
Description: Seven high schools will compete in the mental-sharpening competition covering art/literature, Deaf studies, entertainment, math and technology, science and social studies. The defending champion is Hersey and the runner up is Illinois School for the Deaf.

2nd ANNUAL DEAF QUIZ SHOW
Time: 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. (teams arrive at 6:00 p.m.)
Building/Room: Building J, Theater (park in lot 5)
Description: This popular event is back by demand! Question-and-answer categories include the following: Politics, Sports, Media, History, and Deaf 101 (Includes ASL, Deaf Culture, Deaf History, etc). The defending champion is Flying Hands (100% of proceeds went to IAD Youth Program) and the runner up is DEAFinitely Orange Eyes Smart. Team fee $25.00 per team. Proceeds go to the organization of the winner.
